Share Your Photos

Do you have a real “ghost photo” taken in your haunted home?  We’ll publish the best at this website.

Our requirements

1. Photo should be about 250 pixels wide or 250 pixels tall.  We cannot publish photos over 350 pixels tall or wide.

If you don’t know how to resize your photos, there are several free, online resources to do this.  They include http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ and http://www.picresize.com/, as well as Google’s Picasa program and GIMP, a free digital image program.

If you’re given a choice, select “better” quality, or “best for online use.”  We usually cannot publish photos that are over 100k in size. (Most 250 pixel photos are less than 100k.)

2. No one’s face should be clear in the photo.   That’s for privacy.

3. Be sure to read False Anomalies in Ghost Photos (at HollowHill.com) and rule out possible explanations before sending your picture.

4. Send the photo as an attachment to fiona [at] hollowhill [dot] com.  Be sure to say that I have your permission to publish this photo at LivingWithGhosts.com, and that it’s your own, original photograph.

5. Tell us how to describe your photo, and what name (or initials) to use as the photo credit.  It’s better not to use your full, real name, to protect your privacy.  (However, we will need to know your real name just for our offline records; that’s to reduce our legal liabilities.)
