We have a ghostcat living in our house too. He's been here since I moved in about 6 years ago. Scared the crap out of me the first few times I saw him and felt him. Since then he has become a member of our cat family. They see him too and just recognize him as just another one of them. He visits quite frequently. I always say I have five cats living here instead of my four:) My husband has seen and heard him too.

Hi,

I'm having a similar experience to yours. In my flat, il live both with a ghost cat and a living cat. The difference is that I know who the ghost cat is: my beloved Copine. The very day she died at the vet, Il felt her walking on my bed at night. She has been dead for six months now and she is in the bed with me every night, curled up against me. It seems as though she still has a body, I can feel her every move but when I try to stroke her I don't feel anything. Yet, she is very aware of my stroking her because every time I do this she responds by moving what I assume to be her front paws against my arm. Sometimes I feel her walking over my body. My other cat reacts to her presence by furiously scratching the bed spot where my Copine is then by flying off the bed. The spirit cat seems to scare her off. Copine's visitation came as a total surprise, a wonderful gift. During her final days Copine was very sick and much in pain. Now, she roams about the bed in a manner that seems vigorous and healthy. There is life after death for sure.
