Audio and high-tech devices

If you’ve watched ghost-related TV shows, you’ve seen some wonderful research tools.  However, they can be very expensive.

Here are some relatively inexpensive devices that you might consider.

  • Shack Hack (or Frank’s Box, or Ghost Box)You can buy one of these, but it’s easy to make your own from a standard Radio Shack radio.  One of the best instructional videos is by Chris Moss of the Tennessee Paranormal Society.

  • Digital Dowsing productsFamous for the legendary Ovilus and Puck devices — not in production as of January 2010 — this company hand manufactures devices that enable you to hear what your ghosts may be trying to tell you, clearly and in real time.

I’ve used the Ovilus with remarkable results.

Here’s a YouTube video from a Paranormal State show. It shows the Ovilus at its very best.
